Champions are individuals and households who firmly believe in the positive impact that we’re trying to make in West Oakland and want to support our mission, beyond investing, by spreading the word about our community investment campaign to their own network of family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.
The many ways that a Champion can support our effort include:
- Tell people in your life about People’s Community Market.
- Refer people who you think would have a particular interest in our social venture.
- Promote us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media websites.
- Host a gathering of people you know at your home or place of work.
- Join a host committee and help organize and promote an event.
- Put up a poster at your place of business.
- Put up a lawn sign in your front yard.
- Put up a bumper stick or a door magnet on your car.
